Protection Stone

So, a while ago (about one year ago, actually), I made a protection stone for my significant other to help keep away some being the had been hanging around for a while. (But that's a story for another time ^_^)

Recently, he's told me that the stone feels different. He couldn't quite place HOW it felt different ("It's like, it's heavier, but it's not."). I feel that it probably has to do with our relationship situation, which is tumultuous. But I'm not 100% because, while I was the one who made the stone, I didn't use a spell, only protection runes, so I'm not sure if it would be connected to me.

It's interesting to say the least, and I'm still trying to figure it out.

Did you try cleansing the stone? Or "re energizing" the stone. Sometimes when it's been really long objects tend to pick up other energies. A good smoke cleansing (or water cleansing, depending on what kind of stone it is) can help a lot.

I've thought about that, but I'm not sure the best way. It's painted with acrylic paint.

Smoke cleanse would be my choice.

Sage incense, white (or black) candle and the stone.

Light the candle and then light the incense with the candle and as you hold the stone over the incense smoke picture all the negative energy banishing from the stone.

That's my usual cleansing spell I use for items I can't put in water.

How did that work for you?

Other option would have been incense cleansing as well (instead of sage, something like rosemary or bayleaf). Then again, when I have to cleanse something, I simply sprinkle natron over it.

We decided to wait. Our relationship is rocky at the moment. But I will definitely hold onto these ideas! In a few weeks I'll be doing some cleansing of tools and things. Thank you both!
